Afforestation involves planting trees in areas that haven’t recently had
any tree cover, in order to create a forest. The type of land planted could
include areas that have turned into desert (through desertification),
places that have long been used for grazing, disused agricultural fields,
or industrial areas.
The main goals of afforestation are to serve as a method to reduce
atmospheric CO2, to increase soil quality, and to either avoid or reverse
desertification. The forests created through afforestation also provide a
habitat to local wildlife, create wind breaks, support soil health, and may
also help improve water quality.
Our commitment to coastal ecosystem restoration extends beyond mangroves. With Saudi Aramco’s support, we’ve successfully afforested 8 million mangroves along the Arabian Gulf and Red Sea shorelines within a remarkably short period. Complementing these efforts, we are actively involved in both terrestrial afforestation projects and coral reef restoration initiatives. We collaborate with governmental entities on diverse afforestation projects and provide high-quality mangrove saplings and coral fragments to a wide range of stakeholders, contributing to a holistic approach to environmental sustainability.
Conduct ecological surveys to analyze biodiversity, habitat conditions, and environmental impact.
Develop targeted restoration plans, including afforestation, coral reef rehabilitation, and carbon footprint reduction.
Execute restoration projects like mangrove planting, habitat conservation, and pollution mitigation.
Track progress, measure ecosystem recovery, and ensure long-term environmental resilience.
Green Vision is a leading environmental restoration company in Saudi Arabia, specializing in coral reef restoration, mangrove plantation, afforestation, carbon footprint reduction, and ecological surveys.
We implement global best practices to restore ecosystems, combat climate change, and enhance biodiversity across Saudi Arabia.
Coral reefs protect coastlines, support marine biodiversity, and contribute to sustainable fisheries and tourism.
Mangroves prevent coastal erosion, absorb carbon dioxide, and provide habitats for marine life, enhancing ecosystem resilience.
These initiatives reduce desertification, improve air quality, restore wildlife habitats, and combat climate change effects.
We offer carbon footprint assessments, emission reduction strategies, and sustainable energy solutions tailored to businesses.
Ecological surveys assess biodiversity, monitor environmental impact, and guide sustainable project development in Saudi Arabia.
Yes, we work with government agencies, businesses, and NGOs to implement large-scale environmental projects.
